Introducing the ELM Peninsula Cottage: My Tranquil Retreat. Nestled in the heart of the Presque Isle peninsula area, this cottage stands as my cherished home away from home. The Presque Isle peninsula is our preferred destination for three splendid seasons. Embracing the essence of family getaways, we’ve curated this space to perfection. A mere 2-minute drive separates the cottage from the inviting shores of Presque Isle State Park and the exhilarating Waldameer & Water World amusement parks.

Elevating the concept of family-friendly, we’ve tailored both indoor and outdoor spaces to cater to every member of the family. So, come, escape the routine, and bask in the warmth of quality family moments. The convenience extends to dining options as well, with eateries along 8th and 12th streets within walking distance.

The Space

Step into a cottage bathed in natural light, offering two distinct levels for added privacy. The second floor houses the bedrooms, connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom complete with a shower. On the main floor, a harmonious blend of kitchen, dining, and family room space welcomes you, accompanied by a full bathroom featuring a relaxing tub.

Every inch of this cottage is exclusively yours, including the charming patio that beckons you to unwind.

Other Things to Note

For those who indulge, smoking is permitted on the sheltered outdoor deck – a space designed for relaxation.

We had a wonderful weekend. Sean was helpful with area suggestions even before we arrived. The location of the house is very close to Presque Isle State Park. Our group ventured to the beaches (short drive) and nightlife (within walking distance). We rented bikes at Presque Isle to explore, and we enjoyed some relaxing beach time. We loved the outdoor patio and used the grill for a "steak dinner" night for our group. We loved our stay ~ highly recommend!

We checked in easily and Sean gave clear instructions for our arrival including a emergency contact number. He was very friendly and gave great recommendations for local restaurants and beaches. The house was great— we have a toddler, so we just brought our own gate and door handle covers to quick child-proof for our stay. We enjoyed our stay at Sean’s. The deck was so nice & great for a peaceful afternoon hang with our family. Thank you for a great stay on our first family vacation.

The house was clean, had ample amounts of kitchen items making it easy to cook and a cozy back porch to enjoy. The location was convenient and close to many attractions. It felt much easier for a family of 4 with young kids to stay here rather than a hotel given the space and amenities. Sean was more than accommodating to offer suggestions and had excellent communication throughout booking and our stay. It was our first family trip to Presque Isle and we will most definitely return.
