The Space

The cabin boasts two bedrooms, each furnished with king-sized beds, while the upstairs bedroom additionally features a double bed. There are two bathrooms available, one equipped with a tub-shower combination and the other with a standalone shower. The living room is equipped with a pullout bed and a comfortable sofa. In the den, there’s a pullout trundle bed, and this room also serves as the entrance to the downstairs bedroom. The cabin’s open floor plan provides an inviting atmosphere, with large windows offering picturesque views of the creek. The kitchen is well-appointed, featuring double wall ovens, a range top, hood vent, microwave, and dishwasher. Guests can stay connected with the provided wireless router, offering WiFi access and Verizon cell service.

Guest Access

Guests have access to virtually every part of the property, with the exception of the locked garage and storage closet. It’s important to note that due to varying floor levels, this property is not ADA accessible.

Other Things To Note

Guests will relish unfettered access to Loyalsock Creek from the property, with a trail leading to a delightful swimming hole. For those inclined toward water-based activities, bringing along canoes and kayaks promises a splendid day on the water.

We had a wonderful visit! The cabin was so very clean and inviting. My husband thought it was almost like a tree house perched on the banks of The Loyalsock! We were in town to celebrate my mother inlaws 100th birthday. So it was very nice to have a place for local family members to visit with us! So hope we can come back and spend more time on The Sock and this beautiful cabin !

Rick’s place was an awesome place! Very clean and such a beautiful view of the river / creek. The large windows lets you feel like you are outside yet warm and cozy inside. The place was very clean and had a lot of extra little things that you need but usually do not get from a host (different coffee makers, so many pots and pans - kitchen sets galore!), extra towels - both kitchen and bathing, even disposable plates and cups and utensils, and so much more. Beds and pillows were comfy and it was always warm in every room! Very bright with lots of lighting as well. We walked some trails for a while until it got too cold but really enjoyed the nature in the area. We really enjoyed everything especially the view of the river we woke up to every morning! We did not get a chance to use the outside fire pit and do any of the warmer weather activities… but we hope to visit again. Already planning for our summer time stay, if Rick will have us.

This place, Hosted by Rick, is an amazing and incredible place to be a part of. I wouldn't have changed anything about the place at all ! Accomodations were fantastic, I had stayed here with my Brothers and a few friends and we couldn't have asked for a better place or a more welcoming Host. If you decide to stay here, You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Thank you for an amazing stay, I look forward to the next time !
