Immerse yourself in riverfront leisure—drop a line into the water from the backyard, launch a kayak from our private beach area, or pedal your way to Ohiopyle. Explore the scenic trails of the GAP on foot. For indoor amusement, indulge in a game of billiards or cornhole.

The Space

As the sun sets, unwind in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit with loved ones. During summer, locals often leisurely raft, kayak, or canoe down the river. The Youghiogheny River is a haven for fishing enthusiasts. Your options extend beyond the water with biking, hiking, skiing, golfing, and leisurely strolls.

With accommodations for up to 16 people, The River House provides a spacious haven. The expansive yard lends itself perfectly to events and gatherings.

Other Things to Note

It’s important to mention that currently, central air conditioning is available only on the second floor of the house. The first floor enjoys radiant heating, while the second floor benefits from forced air heating and AC. We’ve thoughtfully added air conditioning units to both downstairs bedrooms and the great room, ensuring the entire house remains comfortably cool.

Our family had a great time at the River House! There was a good mix of activities and relaxation accessible from the property - highlights were biking on the river trail, floating in the river, enjoying the hot tub, and playing games on the spacious lawn.

Riverhouse was an amazing experience for our family reunion. Everything was easy accessible and fun for everyone. A beautiful setting and a central location for biking, rafting, relaxing, and enjoying Western PA. I highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back!

There was something to do for everyone! We especially loved that the bedrooms were really quiet. We couldn’t hear people when they were in the kitchen or living room from the bedrooms.
