The Barn at Legacy Manor – Luxurious Getaway in Lancaster

The recently renovated Barn at Legacy Manor offers a distinctive and opulent retreat. The primary living area features brick flooring throughout, with heated floors in each full bathroom. An expansive great room boasts a substantial 10-foot-wide fireplace (currently non-functional) and an encircling balcony. The capacious kitchen is bathed in natural light and fully equipped, while the five bedrooms each come with their own ensuite bathrooms.

The Space

Discover the beauty of this exquisite space, tailored for sizable gatherings and memorable getaways. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with essential tools for cooking and baking, including a Keurig machine, toaster, panini maker, and blender. The roomy island offers ample bar seating, countertop space, and a lengthy window seat. Adjacent to the kitchen lies the laundry room, a half bath, and entry to the private brick courtyard featuring a fire pit and grill.

The grand room is adorned with an attractive stone fireplace (not presently operational), a custom dining table, a comfortable sectional sofa, a pool table, and a foosball table.

The master bedroom, located on the ground floor, boasts a king-sized bed, a private bath, and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, access the balcony encircling the great room and find four cozy bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. All ensuite bathrooms are equipped with heated tile floors.

The barn is situated next to a historic house that will soon offer four additional spaces for Airbnb rental in late summer or early fall of 2023. The parking lot and extensive yard are shared spaces with these guests. However, the barn and private brick courtyard are exclusively reserved for the barn’s guests.

Conveniently positioned in the heart of Lancaster County, the barn is in proximity to Lancaster City, Intercourse, and Bird in Hand. It’s a mere 8-minute drive from Sight & Sound, around 40 minutes from Hershey Park, and conveniently close to numerous other attractions.

Guest Access

Ample parking is available in the large lot, and the main entrance is through the double doors facing the parking area. WiFi deadbolt access details will be provided on the morning of your arrival.

Additional Information: Please note that a fire company is located three houses away from the Barn, so the sound of a loud fire siren may be heard when they dispatch.

The barn was a perfect place for our high school friends reunion and for all the kiddos to run around. They loved the swinging chairs and outdoor patios. We took advantage of the front and back patios. Recommend if you have a large group!

Beautiful barn house with a great combination of old and new in just the right areas. The place is huge, spotless and very comfortable for a large group. The location was very convenient and peaceful, although we did experience the fire station siren at midnight which was very loud (accurately described by the host). Luckily it was only that one time. Everything else went smoothly without any issues from start to finish. Will definitely come back!
