Secluded Log Cabin in Laporte Township – High Rocks

Step into the realm of High Rocks! Unwind with your entire family at this serene retreat nestled within the Endless Mountains. A tranquil haven for your stay, this secluded property encompasses 100 private acres and houses a cozy 2-bedroom cabin, harmoniously adjacent to the expansive Loyalsock State Forest.

Conveniently positioned a mere 5 miles from Worlds End State Park and a short drive away from the captivating Ricketts Glen State Park, it’s a haven for those who revel in fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, and the allure of the great outdoors. We’re also now accepting reservations for hunting season, including deer, turkey, and bear in WMU 3B.

The Space

Discover a welcoming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin in the heart of the Endless Mountains, complete with an optional RV hookup (additional fee). This idyllic abode graces 100 acres of seclusion, intimately linked with the Loyalsock State Forest. The forest presents an array of walking and biking trails, including the famed Loyalsock Trail and the renowned Haystacks.

Just a short distance away are the captivating World’s End State Park and the enchanting Ricketts Glen State Park. Guests enjoy unrestricted access to the entire property and its intricate network of trails.

The cabin itself epitomizes comfort and relaxation, boasting a welcoming covered front porch and a fire pit. The sleeping arrangement consists of Room 1 with two twin beds and Room 2 with a queen bed.

The living area offers a sofa bed and a recliner, with potential room for an inflatable mattress. High Rocks ensures modern amenities such as running water, electricity, and a well-equipped kitchen. Notably, Verizon’s cell service is strong. Additionally, special hunting season packages are available for booking.

Guest Access

A lockbox with a code will be provided to guests for entry in case the host is unavailable to greet them personally.

Other Things to Note

For those with RVs, an optional hookup is accessible (water and electricity) for an extra fee. Please note that the shed is off-limits to guests. If accompanied by pets, kindly ensure they are under supervision at all times and never left unattended within the cabin. Prior to booking, we kindly ask guests to review the guest rules for a seamless stay.
