The Space

This one-of-a-kind poolhouse seamlessly integrates with a large pool and a covered patio. Close proximity to the captivating Amish attractions and just a few minutes away from downtown Lancaster.

The Millstream Cottage perfectly harmonizes rural and urban living. You’ll indulge in a fully customized kitchen equipped with top-tier appliances, filtered water, and an open-concept living area.

The ground floor hosts a Queen bedroom, while the loft above contains a bunk bed with a Full bed at the bottom and a single bed on top. A pristine new full bathroom and laundry room are accessible from the first-floor living space.

Let yourself unwind in this enchanting waterside cottage nestled within the gentle hills. Feel at home with leisurely walks along the Mill Creek, mornings in the gazebo with coffee, and evenings on your personal patio, savoring a glass of wine.

Important Information: Please be aware that we share our space with a friendly German Shepherd named Ally. She may spend time outdoors but is confined by an invisible fence that prevents her from approaching the cottage.

The premises are reserved exclusively for paying guests.

Guest Access

During your stay, you’ll have the privilege of enjoying your own secluded patio, a spacious swimming pool, and over two acres of picturesque property.

The Millstream Cottage swimming pool is at your disposal throughout your visit. Our children might wish to swim occasionally, but we will arrange this with you beforehand.

Kindly refrain from hosting parties unless arrangements and explicit consent have been obtained. The premises are for paying guests only.

Other Things to Note

Please take note that our affable German Shepherd, Ally, is very gentle and particularly fond of children. Her collar ensures that she stays away from the cottage. Occasionally, she may trail cars as they leave the driveway, but simply proceed – she will move aside!

We could not ask more of our stay and of hosts Jake and Janelle. The cottage was spotless with all the amenities (and more) one could ask for. The location suited our needs perfectly. Easy access to all points of Lancaster county. The private pool was a wonderful rest bit from touring the area on a hot summer day. Just a great experience in a perfect location!

We have stayed here twice, and this time it was pool season! My kids loved the pool, the creek behind the house, but most of all they loved Jake and Janelle’s dog who was the sweetest girl to pal around with. They go above and beyond and the cottage is truly beautiful, peaceful and wonderful. If you can stay here, do it.

This Lancaster property is beautiful and the house is even better than pictured! Well appointed with everything you could need. Very comfortable. The pool area is just what I was looking for and the pool is salt water which was such a pleasant surprise! We did not have the pleasure of meeting Janelle and Jake but we did meet Jake’s mom who was just delightful! We would absolutely recommend this property.
