Escape to Serenity – Your Perfect Farmhouse Retreat in Jonestown

Introducing our Farm View Airbnb, a charming retreat that offers a picturesque vista of our family’s primary farm and the sprawling farmland that surrounds it. This ever-changing landscape is a source of relaxation and wonder, with its appearance shifting with the seasons. Housed within a lovingly renovated farmhouse from the 1860s, the second and third floors have been transformed into a spacious and comfortable Airbnb accommodations. It’s suitable for both intimate getaways and larger group gatherings. Adjacent to the farmhouse is a barn filled with an array of games for the enjoyment of all our guests. Please note that access to the house requires the ability to climb a single flight of stairs.

The Space

As our guest, you’ll have exclusive access to the entire house, the expansive yard, and the lower section of the barn, which hosts an assortment of entertaining options including ping pong, pool, foosball, air hockey, darts, cornhole, and an original skee ball machine from Hershey Park. Our well-equipped kitchen comes complete with small appliances, cookware, and dinnerware. The kitchen is generously sized and features a supersized dining table. Additionally, there’s a cozy nook on the second-floor common area with an additional table that seats six, ideal for dining or enjoying one of the many board games available. For those seeking a quiet reading spot, there’s a second nook with comfortable chairs. The house boasts three televisions, one in each of the common areas. On the second floor, you’ll find a non-heating fireplace, while the third floor offers a gaming system for your entertainment. We’ve also provided private washer and dryer facilities for your convenience. Outdoors, you’ll find a grill and a fire pit for your enjoyment.

Please note that guests reserving the house must be at least 28 years old and stay for the entire duration of their booking.

Guest Access

Guests are granted full access to the entire house, with the exception of the basement and a storage room. The rental also includes a spacious yard and access to the gaming area within the barn. We’ve even provided a propane fire pit in front of the barn for your use. There’s ample paved parking available on the property.

Other Things to Note

The main entrance is located on the second floor, accessible via external steps, and secured with a keypad. On the first floor, there are additional entrance doors that could be used for access via the first floor. However, keys are not provided for these doors, and they lack keypads. These doors, which can be opened from the inside, are designed to accommodate guests with limited mobility and provide access to two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a spacious living area on the first floor.
