Enchanting Escape in the Heart of the Brandywine Valley – Chadds Ford

Nestled in the scenic Brandywine Valley, this delightful getaway is conveniently situated near the Brandywine River Museum, Brandywine Battlefield, Longwood Gardens, Chadds Ford Winery, and West Chester University. The accommodation features a spacious master bedroom with a queen bed, a cozy middle room with a double bed, and a third bedroom with a twin bed. There are two full bathrooms, as well as a half bath adjacent to the generously sized family room. Take in the breathtaking views from the side decks, although please note that the pool is closed during the winter months. Kindly be aware that there is a two-night minimum stay requirement, and we kindly request that there are no parties or smoking on the property.

Other Things to Note

Please keep in mind that the house relies on a well for its water supply. Excessive water usage can occasionally lead to lower water pressure, which is one of the reasons we limit occupancy to five people and cannot accommodate parties. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

This home was charming with plenty of outdoor space. The setting is absolutely serene. The home had all we needed for our short weekend trip and our family truly enjoyed our stay. Our grandsons visited after the Neumann graduation we attended and they LOVED the yard and pool area, even if they all were not brave enough to jump in! There is so much to do in the area - our son & daughter-in-law claimed they’d come back to this location in the future to take advantage of all the attractions in the area.

This is a lovely well equipped and maintained 3 bedroom home in a quiet, country setting with convenient access to restaurants and a nearby Whole Foods - both very welcome after a full day of touring local gardens. A well stocked “welcome basket” was much appreciated. We were fortunate to have fabulous weather - and cotton sheets on comfy beds, although having extra blankets available would be good as sometimes a sheet and a quilt aren’t quite enough. All in all, this Airbnb suited our group of three women travelling together very well. Thank you Katherine for being such a thoughtful host.
