Recently renovated, this country house is nestled in a serene rural neighborhood just 6 miles away from SRU. It accommodates up to 8 guests comfortably. The spacious layout boasts an expansive open living room and kitchen area, a charming dining room, and a cozy sitting room/library complete with a sleeper sofa. Enjoy entertainment on smart TVs in the living room, a large bedroom, and the basement. Stay connected with free WIFI and YouTubeTV. Outside, a generously sized wrap-around porch features a convenient gas grill for your use.

The Space

As with any century-old home, this charming abode retains its character while showcasing some minor imperfections. Please note that we utilize pesticides thoughtfully, which means you might encounter the occasional insect.

Inside, you’ll be enchanted by the vintage allure of the 1900s, with a clawfoot tub adorning the original bathroom. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for family meals, and a second sitting area houses a piano and a delightful assortment of reading material, fostering a ‘take one – leave one’ book exchange.

Mature shade trees envelop the house, creating a tranquil ambiance enhanced by a gentle breeze. Check-in is a breeze as well, facilitated by a keypad code for self-entry. For security purposes, there’s one exterior camera.

Guest Access

Please be aware that the third floor and a storage room in the basement are off-limits to guests. However, you’re welcome to enjoy the small backyard/garden area.

Other Things to Note

Rest easy in the bedrooms, which are outfitted with ceiling fans and central air conditioning. Parking is ample, with space for up to 4 cars. Your comfort and convenience are our priorities.

Our family enjoyed our recent stay at The Painted Lady while we were in the area to celebrate our son's wedding. It's a beautiful, very spacious, and well-maintained home. The Painted Lady is a gorgeous, accommodating spacious place to stay. Precise details comfortable space, exactly what I was looking for to see my daughter compete in her final college event, as well as have family stay together instead of a hotel. Class A host, highly recommend all in all aspects. Was like a home away from home.
