This house is charming and beautiful and was very comfortable for our weekend gathering of 8 college friends. The house is exactly as shown in the photos. What you don’t see in the photos are the small details they added to make it an amazingly pleasant gathering place. From the extra propane tanks for the grill and fire pit to the enormous amount of plates, serving platters, mixing bowls, sugars, spices, Nespresso tablets and whole beans, and tons of games/cards. We didn’t need to bring anything other than ourselves (and meals). Every room served our group of 8 very comfortably. Lots of towels in the bathrooms and tons of pool towels for use at the pool and hot tub. And, let’s not forget the amazing view of downtown Bedford. David and Andrea were in contact with me before, during and after our stay. Even before I booked their place, and had questions, they responded very quickly. I HIGHLY recommend this house and look forward to returning with my gals in the future.

This place is truly a gem! It’s a lovely historic hideout set in Central Pennsylvania, restored to the most pristine condition. We were already expecting a stunning location and host but we’re met with much more than that. A family of deer greeted us multiple times during our stay, and the hot tub/pool is a must for all your fellow guests. A kitchen built to your every need, and a home designed with taste and refinement. We even had the pleasure of seeing a double rainbow over the valley from the back patio. It was the perfect quiet/quaint setting for a relaxing getaway for our family/friends. We will be back, and we hope others take the opportunity to enjoy this truly special home away from home.

Cannot say enough about how wonderful this house is! Beautifully decorated and spotless, with a fully outfitted kitchen, kids toys and gear, and an "adult" playroom in the basement. My family had a wonderful weekend spent talking over the kitchen island, eating meals at the large dining room table, and soaking up the gorgeous views off the back patio. My niece also had a great time with the playset and swimming in the pool. We spent a fun afternoon visiting the shops in downtown Bedford (Bella Terra was a great spot for lunch! ), but otherwise just enjoyed spending time together at the house. The photos of the view and the house really do not do it justice! David and Andrea were also great to work with - they provided a bunch of useful information in advance of our stay and were great about communicating with us as we got into town. We would recommend this house to anyone, and we absolutely plan on coming back here for a future visit!
