A Gorgeous Cabin Overlooking Pine Creek – Village of Ansonia

Nestled at the meeting point of Pine and Marsh Creeks in the charming village of Ansonia, you’ll find yourself in the most exceptional spot along Pine Creek. In fact, we’re the very last house on Pine Creek before it descends into the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania.

The Space

Our home offers a comfortable and well-appointed retreat in an unparalleled location along Pine Creek. You can indulge in canoeing, fishing, and swimming right from the property. The Rail Trail is conveniently accessible just across Route 6 from our private driveway, and we’re right next to the entrance of Colton Point State Park. Despite this proximity to natural wonders, we’re only 8 miles away from Wellsboro. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better location for your Pennsylvania Grand Canyon area vacation.

Please note that the maximum capacity is 6 persons, and dogs are allowed with pre-approval and an additional fee. Being in the Pa. Wilds, you may encounter bugs and wildlife, including mice, snakes, and bears. Expect occasional variations in Wi-Fi and cell reception.

Guest Access

We’ll provide lockbox and canoe codes before your check-in.

Other Things to Note

Feel free to come, sit, relax, or engage in your favorite outdoor activities right from your doorstep. Our home is here for you to enjoy.

As a note of caution, the cabin is situated in a floodplain, so there is a potential for flooding during inclement weather. In the event of flooding, please promptly inform the host so we can closely monitor the situation. If floodwaters reach the cabin, guests will be relocated to a nearby motel of the host’s choosing for safety.

Great place for some family time. Grandkids played like kids and had no intererst in their electronics. They swam and fished. I would return.

Perfect stay on Pine Creek! Literally at the base of the PA Grand Canyon and the creek is your backyard for you to enjoy fishing, canoeing and a fire pit. Karen’s rustic cabin was peaceful and private. The perfect getaway to unplug and reconnect with our family. We brought our Irish Red and White Setter and needless to say she loved it! The inside space of the cabin is perfect for relaxing and the kitchen is perfect for cooking/grilling at home after hiking the Canyon all day. An easy 15 minute ride to Wellesboro, a quaint little town with shops and restaurants, even a winery! Check out Beck’s Bistro for their delicious brisket quesadillas, then head over to the Creamery for homemade ice cream. Stop at Hillstone Farms for steaks on the grill and call it a day. You won’t be disappointed. Our family will definitely be back!
