Nestled in the heart of Ohiopyle, the Vacation House offers a blend of cleanliness and charm, ensuring a tranquil retreat. Situated within the Ohiopyle town limits, it boasts proximity to the Youghiogheny River, GAP bike trail, Ohiopyle Falls, as well as a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops.

The Space

This unique property is among the few rental homes within Ohiopyle town. Its strategic location eliminates the need for constant commuting to out-of-town lodgings. Here, your group can relish quality time together while pursuing individual interests. Activities like hikes, picnics, and river swims are just a stroll away. Even Grandma and Grandpa can immerse themselves without the hassle of constant back-and-forth travel—just as our own grandparents enjoy!

The dwelling features two upstairs bedrooms. The first bedroom comprises a Queen bed and a twin bed, while the second room is equipped with a Queen bed on the lower bunk. For larger groups, we accommodate up to 4 additional guests who can find floor or couch space to accommodate a maximum of 10 occupants (an extra charge of $15 per person beyond 6, per night).

Guest Access

Amenities at your disposal include an outdoor fire pit, washer/dryer facilities, and a yard area situated directly behind the house (limited to the side of the sidewalk adjacent to the house). Please note that tents and parking are not permitted on the opposite side of the sidewalk. Given its location within a quiet residential neighborhood, parties are prohibited. In consideration of the excellent neighbors, a maximum speed limit of 15 mph must be observed when driving in the vicinity.

Other Things to Note

For guests traveling with dogs, prior approval is necessary, along with a non-refundable fee of $75 per reservation. An intriguing facet of this dwelling is its absence of televisions—a true escape from screen distractions! Hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, coffee filters, two rolls of toilet paper, fresh bedding, and towels are provided. However, kindly note that paper towels, laundry soap, and firewood are not included.

It was so nice to find this place right in downtown Ohiopyle! We could walk to the trailheads, the river, Falls Market and even walked to the state park nature center. The place was clean and comfortable and just what we wanted for a girls getaway adventure weekend!

Perfect location at the edge of Ohiopyle. The property borders the Ohiopyle State Park. The Baughman and Sugarloaf trails are practically right outside the front door, and a brief walk will take you to the Youghiogheny River. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. If I decide to return to Ohiopyle, I would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfectly clean, charming, roomy and we loved the location. The host always responded fast and was super friendly. If I ever vacation in Ohiopyle again I would try to alter my dates for availability of this house.
